job search....

Didn't take (or get for that matter) the BIG scary job at the UMCG. Decided it wasn't for me. Lord...after 25yrs of nursing, do I really want to run my feet off and be stressed all over the place..NOPE!!...so the search continues....
Here's a photo of me in my glory-days...after a few beers coming home on the train from Oxford...WOW! young and fresh...those were the days. All these years in Holland have taken a toll on my sense of style AND on my hair, which is mostly a fuzz-ball on the top of my head. There's no fighting the rain and humidity...that's why Dutch women have these icky buzz0cuts...and the young pretty blond teens gel their pony-tails tightly to their heads..the dreaded fuzz....
Off once again to Leeuwarden to school. Really have NO desire to grace the hallowed-Halls of Noordelijk Hogeschool once again, but I digress....Decided to be generous and give my Richard-Geer look-alike professor a bottle of wine for his guidance. I really believe he helped me in my persuit of this degree...and plus, he's cute as hell.
On the verge of a BIG life decision....do I leave my nice, cushy job with the "oldies" to persue bigger (read=more€€€€) and better things??? Have an opportunity at "startuitzendbureau"...an employment agency where I had my first job opportunity 5 yrs ago. They are offering me all sorts of things...what to do? what to do????

Well, you know what I'm gonna say about the hair so let's just leave it at that. ;)

A Richard Gere look-a-like, hmm..?? Damn, that would just distract me.

wow...is that realy fair? to blame the weather in Holland? the fact that hair is mostly a fuzz-ball?
Or is it all the years in Holland? if it has taken a toll on your sense of style..don't you realy mean that you're not happy in Holland? no offence but i find blaming the weather a poor excuse
